the scarred crown, the tiny flaws in the bridge, the soft jaw-- smeared, smoothed into a formless stretch of blur. all you know how is to hurt, hide, and hold and smile false smiles in the gloom of the world. I know it could be better, but it's just a picture I wanted to get out of my system and have no intention of revising. |
